About us
Rwandan Youth Information Community Organisation (rYico) is a charitable organisation that works to support and empower vulnerable young people in Rwanda. In 2005 it established Centre Marembo, a youth resource centre based in Kigali which primarily supports young people who have been orphaned, neglected or left in very difficult conditions, particularly as a result of the 1994 genocide. rYico also aims to increase social and cultural understanding about Rwanda within the UK through cultural exchange and education. For more information about rYico's activities in the UK, click here...

Centre
Marembo has very recently been informed that it cannot renew its lease on
the building that it rents. This is unexpected news and, with only 3 months
notice, time is running out to find a new building to rent.
To provide a secure future for the young people, rYico is appealing for funds to constuct its own purpose built centre. Click here for more information or visit www.justgiving.com/centremaremboappeal to donate.
